ABC has renewed five unscripted series for the 2025-2026 season. The shows include “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” “American Idol,” “Celebrity Jeopardy!,” “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune,” and “Shark Tank.”

Alfonso Ribeiro is expected to return as host for the 36th season of “America’s Funniest Home Videos.” The return of judges Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie, as well as host Ryan Seacrest, has yet to be confirmed for the 24th season of “American Idol.”

Ken Jennings will likely reprise his role as host for the fourth season of “Celebrity Jeopardy!” Pat Sajak will not return for the sixth season of “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune,” and Ryan Seacrest is anticipated to take over hosting duties.

Abc’s 2025 unscripted series lineup

Daymond John, Barbara Corcoran, Robert Herjavec, Kevin O’Leary, Lori Greiner, and Daniel Lubetzky are expected to return for the 17th season of “Shark Tank.”

ABC also previously announced other unscripted renewals, including “Bachelor in Paradise,” “Celebrity Family Feud,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “The Golden Bachelor,” and “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.”

Scripted series confirmed for renewal include “Abbott Elementary,” “9-1-1: Nashville,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “High Potential,” “Shifting Gears,” and “Will Trent.”

The fate of the cruise-set procedural “Doctor Odyssey” from Ryan Murphy Productions remains uncertain as conversations continue about the future of the ratings-challenged drama. Fans have expressed mixed opinions about the potential renewal of “Doctor Odyssey.” Some believe the show does not need to be renewed, while others hope for a second season.
