Singer Baekhyun’s agency, INB100, has taken legal action against individuals spreading malicious posts and comments about the artist online. The agency announced on April 16 that they filed a criminal complaint with the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul on April 15. INB100 stated, “We have been continuously monitoring and collecting evidence based on reports from fans.

This includes content from social media platforms, online communities, and various forums.”

The complaint requests an investigation into charges such as defamation, the spread of false information, insults, and sexual harassment. The agency emphasized their commitment to protecting Baekhyun’s rights and interests. “We will continue to monitor malicious posts internally while thoroughly reviewing materials provided by fans.

We will collect and preserve evidence and proceed with strong legal action,” INB100 said.

Protecting Baekhyun from online harassment

The agency made it clear they will take a firm stance without any leniency or settlements against malicious acts directed at their artist and staff.

They vowed to do their utmost to protect Baekhyun’s rights. Baekhyun is a prominent K-pop artist who debuted with the group EXO in 2012. He has also had a successful solo career.

In 2023, he parted ways with SM Entertainment and joined INB100, where he reunited with fellow EXO members Chen and Xiumin. This incident highlights the ongoing issue of cyberbullying faced by many celebrities. K-pop agencies are increasingly taking strong measures to combat online harassment and protect their artists.
