Indie icon Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and menswear designer Todd Snyder have joined forces for a unique collaboration. The partnership, inspired by Vernon’s new album “SABLE, fABLE,” was unveiled at an event held at Snyder’s flagship store in New York on April 1. “This project came together in such a natural way,” Snyder said.

“Justin’s music has been a huge source of inspiration for me over the years, and getting to create something that celebrates his latest album felt like an incredible opportunity. We wanted these pieces to feel as personal and unique as the music itself.”

Vernon, who hails from western Wisconsin, and Snyder, an Iowa native, bonded over their shared Midwestern roots and values. “Todd’s from Iowa.

I’m from western Wisconsin, and there’s a certain ethic that we share,” Vernon explained.

“I didn’t expect to have this big career like a kid growing up in L.A. might.

It was just like, ‘What are we doing Friday night?’ You learn to create something out of nothing.”

The limited-edition collaboration features a hoodie and beanie in a soft salmon hue, a color that dominates both the clothing and the album artwork. The pieces showcase a black square intarsia drawn from the album cover and Bon Iver’s signature embroidered at the hem of the sweater. The Todd Snyder x Bon Iver limited-edition hoodie and beanie will be available on April 10th, 2025, exclusively at ToddSnyder.com.

The hoodie, priced at $398, is crafted from Snyder’s signature Nomad yarn, a recycled Italian cashmere offering a plush, lofty feel. The beanie, priced at $138, is also made from Nomad yarn in a half-cardigan stitch for a refined texture. This collaboration celebrates the harmonious blend of music and design, born from shared creativity and mutual respect between the two artists.
