Steffy and Hope sit together at Brooke’s mansion, grappling with the devastating news of Liam’s death. Steffy explains that she felt Hope deserved to know, as the mother of one of Liam’s children. “I can’t believe he’s gone,” Hope says, tears streaming down her face as she holds a picture of their daughter, Beth.

“How are we going to tell our girls that their daddy is never coming back?”

The weight of the situation hangs heavy in the room. Both women know that their lives, and the lives of their children, will never be the same. “We have to be strong for them,” Steffy says, her voice trembling.

“They’re going to need us now more than ever.”

Hope nods, wiping away her tears.

Hope and Steffy console each other

“I just don’t know how I’m going to do this without him.

He was my rock, my everything.”

Steffy reaches out and takes Hope’s hand, squeezing it gently. “We’ll get through this together. For our kids, and for Liam.”

The two women sit in silence, each lost in their own thoughts and memories of the man they both loved.

They know that the road ahead will be difficult, but they also know that they have each other to lean on. As the sun sets outside the window, casting a warm glow over the room, Hope and Steffy begin to talk about how they will break the news to their children. They know that it will be the hardest thing they’ve ever had to do, but they also know that they will do it with love and strength, just as Liam would have wanted.
