Melvins announce fall US tour with Redd Kross

The Melvins and Redd Kross have announced their “Stop Your Whining” tour for Fall 2025. The tour will start on September 9 in Flagstaff, Arizona and end on October 21 in Tucson, Arizona. The two bands will travel across the United States during the tour.

Before coming to the US, they will spend a month touring in Europe. Steven McDonald, who started Redd Kross and has played bass for the Melvins since 2015, will perform with both bands on the tour. Redd Kross was recently featured in a documentary called “Born Innocent: The Redd Kross Story.”

The Melvins are touring as a four-piece band right now.

The members are singer and guitarist Buzz Osborne, Steven McDonald, and drummers Dale Crover and Coady Willis. The band is currently touring with Napalm Death.

They also released an EP together earlier this year. The Melvins’ “1983” lineup, with Osborne and original drummer Mike Dillard, also released a new album called “Thunderball.”

Tickets for the “Stop Your Whining” tour will go on sale on Friday, May 16 at 10 a.m. local time. There will also be a special pre-sale for fans starting on Wednesday, May 14 at 10 a.m. local time.

Tickets can be bought at Ipecac.com/tours. The Melvins started in 1983 in Montesano, Washington. Buzz Osborne started the band and Dale Crover joined as the drummer a year later.

The group mixes punk rock and heavy music to create their own unique style. They have released over 30 original albums, many live records, and lots of singles and rare songs over their 40-year career.
