Pierce Brosnan recently shared his memories of working with Robin Williams on the set of the 1993 film, Mrs. Doubtfire. Brosnan revealed that he mainly interacted with Williams’ iconic character from the movie. “I really never worked with Robin Williams,” Brosnan said.
“I only worked with Mrs. Doubtfire.”
In Mrs. Doubtfire, Brosnan played Stuart “Stu” Dunmeyer, the new love interest of Miranda, played by Sally Field. Miranda was the estranged wife of Williams’ character, who disguises himself as a female nanny to spend time with his children during a divorce.
The 71-year-old actor shared memories of meeting Williams for the first time on the film’s set in San Francisco. “They asked if I wanted to meet Robin, and I said, ‘Yeah, I’d love to meet him,'” Brosnan recounted. “I went into the makeup trailer, and Robin was there in a Hawaiian shirt, with his hairy arms and legs, but he had the head of Mrs. Doubtfire.”
Williams never broke character during their initial meeting, even speaking in Mrs.

Doubtfire’s voice: “Oh, Pierce, you’re so handsome. Come here, give us a kiss,” before switching to his natural voice to say, “Hey baby, what’s happening?”
“He jumped all over the place,” Brosnan fondly recalled.
Behind the scenes, the set was filled with laughter. Brosnan noted, “There’s reams of footage of me just kind of falling around on the floor with laughter, and he went really blue. He really was quite colorful, because the children weren’t there, and it was just Robin and myself.
He knew he had me in the crosshairs with his humor. I loved the man.”
Brosnan added that Williams was “such a kind-hearted man.” Fans appreciated hearing these stories about Williams, who passed away at the age of 63. One fan commented, “I adore how 32 years after Mrs.
