Grammy winners LeAnn Rimes and Sheryl Crow will join season 27 of NBC’s singing competition series “The Voice” as Mega Mentors. The announcement, made on April 15, 2025, confirmed that the two music icons will assist coaches and contestants during the playoff round. Rimes, who became the youngest person to win the Grammy for Best New Artist in 1997 at age 14, will support coaches John Legend and Adam Levine.

Crow, a nine-time Grammy winner, will join coaches Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Bublé. Both Rimes and Crow shared their excitement about the news on their Instagram Stories. The two country stars join an elite group of musicians who have previously served as Mega Mentors on “The Voice,” including Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Reba McEntire, and Jennifer Hudson.

Crow has experience with the show, having been a Mega Mentor in season four in 2013 and performing on the stage multiple times.

Rimes has also served as a coach on “The Voice UK” and “The Voice Australia,” winning the 13th season of the latter in October.

Earlier this season, each current coach brought in an advisor to support their teams. Bublé invited Cynthia Erivo, Legend welcomed Jazmine Sullivan, Ballerini got Little Big Town, and Levine—who returned to the show as a coach this season after exiting in 2019—was joined by his high school classmate, Kate Hudson. “I’ve known Adam since high school!” Hudson told “Entertainment Tonight” last month.

“His first band, they were always playing somewhere. It’s amazing to see his success and then to be here doing this with him, it feels very familiar, yet surreal at the same time.”
