Alex Warren’s hit single “Ordinary” has secured the No. 1 spot on the Hot 100 for the second week in a row. Warren co-wrote the song with Mags Duval, Cal Shapiro, and Adam Yaron, who also produced it.

“I think back to the day we wrote this — having no idea how much this would change our lives,” she wrote. “Adam started playing this harp-like guitar part in the living room, and I had been wanting to write a love song about a love so powerful it could ‘take you out of the ordinary.’ This song has truly transformed our lives.”
“Ordinary” had 21.5 million official streams, a 3% increase from the previous week.

It also had 48.1 million radio airplay audience impressions, up 11%, and 7,000 sales, down 12%, in the U.S. from May 30 to June 5. The song continues to dominate various charts. Morgan Wallen’s “What I Want,” featuring Tate McRae, holds the No.
2 spot on the Hot 100, two weeks after reaching No. 1. It also sees a third week at No.
1 on Streaming Songs with 24.1 million streams, down 4%. Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther” climbs from No.
Warren’s Ordinary tops for second week
5 to No. 4, marking its 24th week at No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” remains at No. 6, while Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile” holds the No. 7 position.
Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control,” a previous chart-topper in March 2024, stays at No. 8. It sets a record with its 64th week in the top 10 and its 94th week on the chart overall.
Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” rises to No. 9, swapping places with Drake’s “Nokia,” both of which have peaked at No. 2.
