Alisha “Lisha B” Brown is set to join Beasley Media’s Rhythmic Throwbacks station, WMGC-FM Detroit, as the new co-host of the “Bounce Morning Roll Out” morning show. The show will debut on Monday, April 7, with Brown alongside Program Director Clay Church. Brown comes to WMGC-FM from Townsquare Media Grand Rapids, where she spent the past three years in various roles.

These included Promotions Director, afternoon host at Hip Hop 1410 WNWZ, and morning show producer at Hot AC WLHT. Her previous experience also includes a stint as a midday host at Hip Hop WALJ in Tuscaloosa, AL, and as a local producer for Reach Media’s Russ Parr Show at WKYS in Washington, DC. Church expressed his excitement about the new addition to the team.

“I am ecstatic that Detroit will have the chance to wake up with Alisha and me. Alisha focuses on creating a real relationship with the audience.

Brown’s new chapter at Bounce

I know she will have an immediate, positive impact on Bounce and Detroit,” he said. Brown shared her enthusiasm as well. “I am super excited to start this new chapter in Detroit with Beasley.

I appreciate Clay, Patti, and the Beasley team for bringing me in for the fun. I can’t wait to wake up Detroit and gain new besties!” she said. The new morning show fills the slot previously occupied by Shannon Renee.

The announcement marks an exciting new chapter for both Lisha B and the listeners of 105.1 The Bounce. They can look forward to an engaging and dynamic morning show starting April 7.
