Ayesha Curry prioritizes relationship over parenting

Ayesha Curry recently shared her secret to a lasting marriage with NBA star Stephen Curry. In an interview, she said their relationship always comes first, even before their four children. “I think for us, our relationship always comes first.

Then we’re parents,” Ayesha said. “That works for us because then you have two happy people raising the kids in the house.”

The couple met as teenagers and married in 2011. They have four children: Riley, 12, Ryan, 9, Canon, 6, and a baby born in May 2021.

Ayesha, 35, also said it’s important to surround themselves with smart, knowledgeable people. “They allow us the space to be creative and to show up however we choose to. We’re not control freaks.

We have ideas, but we’re willing to let people help us see those ideas into fruition,” she said. In 2021, Stephen surprised Ayesha with a vow renewal ceremony after 10 years of marriage.

Their children played big roles: Riley led the ceremony, while Ryan and Canon walked Ayesha down the aisle. “It’s everything I’ve always dreamed of but didn’t know could be possible in this way. A moment I will never forget,” Ayesha shared on Instagram.

Ayesha often shows her love for Stephen on social media. Recently, she posted a message calling him her “forever valentine” with one of her favorite photos of them. “Every time I look at you, I still feel like I’m the 19-year-old girl in this picture with butterflies in my stomach,” she wrote.

Stephen and Ayesha Curry continue to set an example of a strong, loving partnership while raising their children and taking care of their relationship.
