The scene comes out before the film’s digital release on April 15, 2025. In the scene, called “The Mission,” Sam and Leila are in a boxing ring.

Sam asks Leila about a secret mission ordered by President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, played by Harrison Ford. The mission is to go to Mexico and get back stolen adamantium from the villain Sidewinder, played by Giancarlo Esposito. This scene happens before a bigger mission where Sam and Joaquin Torres, the new Falcon played by Danny Ramirez, will face Sidewinder and the SERPENT terrorist group.

The scene takes place in Washington, D.C. and reveals important classified plans under President Ross. It was not in the movie when it was in theaters, but it is one of three deleted scenes that will be in the digital and home media versions.
