Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ex-girlfriend testified Tuesday that she took part in sexual acts with male sex workers at the music mogul’s request. She said it made her feel loved by him, but she now regrets what she came to recognize as a “cuckold” lifestyle. The woman, testifying under the pseudonym “Jane” to protect her identity, spoke at Combs’ sex-trafficking trial in a federal court in Manhattan.
Jane revealed that their three-year relationship lasted until the Bad Boy Records founder was arrested in September. Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges. He faces a potential penalty of 15 years to life in prison and has been jailed without bail.
Prosecutors allege Combs used violence, threats, and a network of employees and associates to control and abuse women for two decades. His lawyers have argued that although there was domestic violence in his relationships, everything he did sexually was consensual. Earlier in the trial, R&B singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura testified over four days that Combs physically abused her.
She also said she participated in hundreds of “freak-off” sexual performances during a nearly 11-year relationship that ended in 2018. Attorney Teny Geragos, representing Combs, cross-examined Jane on Tuesday. Geragos led Jane to discuss the drug-fueled sexual marathons choreographed by Combs.
Jane stated these encounters, which happened frequently, were something she agreed to under emotional pressure. She said she did it because of her desire to stay in a relationship with Combs. Jane testified that she participated in the encounters, sometimes reluctantly, because they pleased Combs.
Emotional testimony in Diddy trial
She enjoyed spending time alone with him afterward. She admitted to beginning therapy about three months ago.
While she once felt the experiences were special, she now struggles to understand why she continued to participate. Jane described how she eventually came across the terms “cuck” and “cuckold” in 2022. These terms seemed to fit the lifestyle she was led into.
“He likes to use the words ‘voyeurism’ and ‘escapism,'” Jane explained. She added that she believed the term “cuck” was more appropriate for Combs. Geragos reminded Jane that she had testified last week about her ongoing love for Combs.
She confirmed this and also read aloud sexually explicit messages. The messages indicated her willingness to engage in the activities Combs desired. Geragos tried to paint her as a willing participant.
In previous testimony, Jane also provided examples of Combs acting violently toward women to fulfill his sexual desires. Cassie sued Combs in November 2023, alleging sexual abuse. The lawsuit was settled within hours for $20 million.
This settlement triggered the criminal investigation into Combs.
