Lynn Herring, who plays Lucy Coe on General Hospital, promises fans that this year’s Nurses Ball will be filled with drama and excitement. The event, which starts on Tuesday, May 20, returns after a year off in 2024. “There are two things that I believe will have viewers really yelling at the TV,” Herring says.

She hints at high stakes and surprising revelations but keeps the specifics under wraps. Herring shares a tantalizing detail about Lucy’s red-carpet outfit. “I get to wear an outfit similar to one from the Academy Awards,” she reveals.

“But I am going to bring a special guest on a leash with me.” This mysterious plus-one is generating plenty of buzz among fans. The Nurses Ball will feature impressive performances, including a “wonderful duet” that Herring describes as “emotional and beautiful” and a finale that will “tug at your heartstrings.”

Herring also discusses Lucy’s complicated relationship with Sidwell, played by Carlo Rota.

She notes the chemistry between the two characters despite Sidwell’s villainous nature. “There’s a flirtation and a recognition of mutual old souls,” Herring explains. Though uncertain about where their storyline is headed, Herring enjoys working with Rota.

“It’s awfully fun taking this journey,” she laughs. “Lucy loves her money and powerful people, which is an aphrodisiac right there.”

As the Nurses Ball unfolds, fans can expect a combination of drama, fashion, and powerful performances that will keep them glued to their screens.
