Winds of Plague is set to reunite with drummer Art Cruz at the 2025 Louder Than Life festival. The festival will take place from September 18th through 21st at the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Expo Center. Cruz previously exited the band in 2022 after officially joining Lamb of God in 2019.

Lamb of God is also on the bill for this year’s festival. The organizers announced, “Returning to the stage for the first time since 2018 in the eastern half of the United States, please welcome the reunion of Winds of Plague!” They praised the California natives, noting that the band is “known for fusing crushing deathcore with orchestral grandiosity that has ignited pits on the world’s largest metal stages.”

As of now, there is no word on what Winds of Plague’s full lineup is or if they have more plans beyond this festival.

However, with the resurgence of deathcore, their return is highly anticipated. Other recent additions to the festival lineup include Dream Theater, Kublai Khan TX, All Time Low, and Insane Clown Posse. The event will feature an impressive roster of bands, such as A Perfect Circle, Lamb of God, Lorna Shore, Black Veil Brides, Spineshank, DevilDriver, Superheaven, Walls of Jericho, and Counterparts.

This reunion set promises to be a significant moment for Winds of Plague fans and festival-goers alike. For more information on Louder Than Life and to purchase tickets, visit the festival’s official website.
