ESPN will launch a new direct-to-consumer streaming service this fall. The service will be called ESPN and will offer two subscription plans. The unlimited plan will cost $29.99 per month and include access to all ESPN networks and content.

This includes ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SECN, ACCN, ESPNEWS, ESPN Deportes, ESPN on ABC, ESPN+, ESPN3, SECN+, and ACCNX. The plan covers a wide range of live events, studio shows, original programming, and more across various sports leagues and events. The select plan will cost $11.99 per month or $119.99 annually and provide access to ESPN+ content.

This includes over 32,000 live sports events annually, on-demand replays, exclusive studio shows, and original content.

New ESPN streaming service options

Subscribers can also bundle the ESPN unlimited plan with Disney+ and Hulu for $29.99 per month for the first 12 months as a special launch offer.

Existing ESPN+ subscribers will automatically transition to the new service based on their current subscription level. Jimmy Pitaro, ESPN Chairman, said, “We are providing everything ESPN has to offer directly to fans, all in one place. Our straightforward approach to naming and pricing will help fans cut through the clutter and provide them compelling options to access all our content within the enhanced ESPN App.

It will be the ultimate sports destination for personalized experiences and features.”

The launch will also introduce enhancements to the ESPN App on mobile and connected TV devices, offering fans new features and functionality. Those subscribed to the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN bundles will be able to watch ESPN content seamlessly within Disney+, alongside Disney and Hulu programming. Additional details, including the specific launch date, will be announced later this summer.
