Reimagined Discovery

Eventbrite, the global events marketplace, has launched a major update to its app aimed at transforming the event discovery process for users. The redesign introduces personalized recommendations, seamless social interactions, and a vibrant new visual identity. “Life’s most meaningful moments happen when we connect with people who share our interests,” says Julia Hartz, Eventbrite Co-Founder, CEO, and Executive Chair.

“That’s why we’ve reimagined our app to become a destination where culture and community naturally come together, helping people turn their passions into incredible experiences.”

Central to this update is “The Path,” Eventbrite’s new logo symbolizing the journey from discovery to unforgettable experiences. The app now features dynamic visuals with bold colors, expressive gradients, and striking typography, adding more emotion to the process of finding and sharing live events. The reimagined Discover tab offers personalized recommendations and insider guides curated by cultural tastemakers and local experts.

At launch, there are over 60 “It-Lists” across 12 major markets, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and London. These lists highlight unique experiences such as Afrobeats block parties, underground art walks, and intimate music shows.

Eventbrite has also redesigned event listings to provide crucial information upfront, such as check-in times, age restrictions, parking info, and FAQs. Organizers can now add videos to give users a better sense of the event before booking. The updates make it easy to plan with friends by syncing contacts, allowing users to see which events friends are attending and share saved events to coordinate plans.

This eliminates the frustration of discovering great events only after they’ve happened. Eventbrite’s updated app now features four simple tabs to meet all event needs: Discover for personalized feeds, Saved for bookmarked events, Tickets for event details, and Account for preferences. “We’ve reimagined event discovery, focusing on what matters most to both organizers and attendees,” shared Ted Dworkin, Eventbrite Chief Product Officer.

“Our updated app creates a more intuitive way to explore events, while giving organizers better tools to showcase what makes their experiences special.”

In 2024, Eventbrite distributed 270 million tickets to over 4.7 million events, helping people find new things to do or new ways to do more of what they love. The updated app is now available in all Eventbrite markets.
