Evile’s song “Enter The Grave” from their 2007 debut album is featured alongside tracks by legendary artists such as Johnny Cash, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and pop sensation Kelly Clarkson.
The contrast in musical styles adds a unique layer to the film’s atmosphere. “Final Destination Bloodlines” also marks the final acting role of horror icon Tony Todd, who passed away in 2024. In an emotional final scene, Todd’s character, the mysterious mortician William Bludworth, reveals he is sick and retiring to enjoy his remaining days.
His words take on a second meaning following Todd’s real-life death, serving as a farewell message from the actor himself.

They encouraged him to speak from the heart about the meaning of life and death, addressing the fans directly. The film also reveals Bludworth’s origin story, explaining that he cheated death himself decades ago and has been marked for death ever since. Todd was excited to explore this aspect of his character, making him more of a whole person rather than just a mysterious mentor figure.
Despite Todd’s poor health, he was joyful on set and enjoyed meeting the actors who played his younger self and his character’s mother. Lipovsky hopes Todd’s farewell will provide closure for fans mourning the loss of the horror icon. While the death of every major character at the end of the movie would typically preclude a sequel, the “Final Destination” series has a way of continuing.
If the film performs well at the box office, a seventh movie is likely, potentially exploring the loose end of Kimberly Corman (A.J. Cook) from “Final Destination 2,” who successfully cheated death and could return as a new mentor to the next group of doomed teens.
