Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder suffers dehydration

Don Felder, the former Eagles guitarist, suffered a medical emergency while performing on the Rock Legends Cruise. The incident occurred on Thursday night as the 77-year-old musician was about to play “Tequila Sunrise.”

Felder began to lose his balance during the performance. A crew member quickly guided him offstage.

His bandmates followed shortly after. Fans in the audience showed their support by clapping and shouting, “We love you Don!” The crowd was concerned about Felder’s well-being. On Friday, Felder’s team provided an update on social media.

They stated, “After receiving medical attention he was deemed to be suffering from dehydration.

He was given fluids and is feeling much better.”

The cruise, which is heading toward the Bahamas, includes multiple performances by Felder.

His team is working to reschedule his shows to ensure he has enough time to rehydrate and recover fully. Felder later posted a short video on his social media accounts. In the video, he said, “Hey guys, I just wanted to tell you all I am back 100 percent.

I had a wonderful time down in the little medical facility getting an I.V. last night. I feel fantastic, so I appreciate all your concern, but I am back and ready to rock.”

Don Felder performed with the Eagles from 1974 to 2001. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the band in 1998.

Felder played a key role in writing the melody for their hit song “Hotel California.”
