Heather Graham, the 55-year-old actress known for her roles in “Boogie Nights” and “Austin Powers,” has shared her secrets to staying youthful and happy in her 50s. In a recent interview, Graham opened up about her approach to aging gracefully and the importance of inner joy. “Decide that you’re hot and enjoy your life.

What other people think of you is none of your business,” Graham said. “If you feel good about yourself, no one can take that away from you. Pursue the things that fill you with joy, and surround yourself with loving people.”

Graham attributes her timeless beauty to a healthy lifestyle.

She abstains from alcohol and drugs, gets plenty of sleep, and eats nutritious foods. “Eating healthy makes me feel good. I like cooking for myself and other people.

And I love it when people cook for me. Basically, I like eating!” she shared. The actress also practices affirmations to nurture self-love and positivity.

“I work on strengthening my inner loving parent muscle, so I can be supportive and loving to myself. One of my affirmations is: ‘This is the best time of my life.'”

Since her early 20s, Graham has been dedicated to wellness.

She incorporates workouts, yoga, and meditation into her daily routine. She also emphasizes the importance of having a supportive social circle. “I have some wonderful friends, and I am so grateful for them.”

Reflecting on her happiness, Graham noted, “I feel like as I get older, I just care less about things that don’t matter.

Everyone gets upset sometimes, but I think that I’m happier. I’ve done enough hard work on myself that I feel like I’m a happier person now.”

Graham’s journey to self-sufficiency and contentment includes leaving home at 18 to pursue acting and becoming estranged from her parents who did not support her career. With standout roles in films like “Swingers,” Graham found success and independence.

“I live in Los Angeles in a house I bought last year. I also have a loft in New York,” she said. Embracing her sexuality has also been a significant part of Graham’s personal growth.

“Nowadays, so many women are enjoying their sexuality, but when I was coming up, there was definitely judgment around that. It’s great to watch younger women feel freer to be sexual and not to worry about cultural bias.”

Heather Graham’s approach to aging gracefully combines self-acceptance, healthy living, and the pursuit of joy, setting a powerful example for women in their 50s and beyond.
