Kanye West has released a new song featuring his daughter North West and Diddy, despite opposition from his former wife, Kim Kardashian. Kardashian, who tried to block the 11-year-old from appearing on the song alongside Diddy, stated it was “to protect her.”

In the new track titled “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,” Diddy, his son King Combs, Kanye West’s daughter North, and a new Yeezy artist from Chicago, Jasmine Williams, collaborate. The song was shared by Combs in a post on Saturday, March 15th.

He posted the video on social media with the caption: “LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE new song by PUFF DADDY feat. His son KING COMBS my daughter NORTH WEST and new Yeezy artist from Chicago Jasmine Williams.”

The video accompanying the song was an entirely blank screen, but the audio features unique contributions from all artists involved. In the song, Diddy is heard on a phone call expressing his gratitude, saying, “I wanna just thank you so much for just taking care of my kids, man.” Kanye replies, “Absolutely, I love you so much man.

You raised me. Even when I ain’t know you, know what I’m saying?” North West is also heard rapping a line: “When you see me shining, then you see the light.”

Before releasing the track, Kanye reportedly shared private screenshots of a conversation with Kim Kardashian, who expressed concerns over the song’s release featuring their daughter.

Kanye’s response in the leaked messages was firm, stating: “Amend it or I’m going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You’re going to have to kill me.”

Kanye West, often noted for his sporadic social media presence, released the new song via his X/Twitter account on March 15th.

This release continues to attract significant attention, adding another layer of intrigue to his contentious relationship with Kim Kardashian and their efforts to co-parent their children. This ongoing family and professional saga continues to be a topic of widespread public interest.
