The Messoudi Brothers returned to the “America’s Got Talent” stage on Tuesday with a daring knife-juggling act that left the judges and audience stunned. Soffien and Karim Messoudi took their performance to new heights by removing and putting back on their jackets while tossing razor-sharp knives. The brothers had previously appeared on the show in 2019 during season 14, where they performed acrobatics alongside their third brother, Yassin.
This time, Yassin opted out of the more perilous performance, as he is now a father of two. During the act, one of the brothers appeared to struggle with his jacket, creating a tense moment that heightened the drama. Despite the near-mishap, the Messoudi Brothers’ skill and daring impressed the judges.
Sofia Vergara, who had to turn away during parts of the performance, commented, “Can I just say, having seen you before, I didn’t think you’d be able to top it.

And it was really frightening.” She added that the jacket struggle “made it even better because we realized how hard this is.”
Simon Cowell, known for his tough critiques, called the act “breathtaking.” He said, “It might be the only time I’ve ever liked juggling acts.
It felt different. And we always say, this show relies on moments, and that’s what I call a moment. Big time.”
The performance reached a climax when Mel B stood up and declared, “I think you are perfect!” before hitting the Golden Buzzer, sending the Messoudi Brothers straight to the live shows later in the season.
Gold confetti fell onto the stage as the brothers celebrated, though Vergara protested that she had planned to hit the Golden Buzzer herself. “That was my Golden Buzzer!” Vergara exclaimed, to which Cowell humorously asked why she hadn’t gotten there earlier. “America’s Got Talent” continues to showcase incredible talents from across the country, with the Messoudi Brothers’ knife-juggling act standing out as a highlight of the season so far.
The show airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
