Yami Gautam Dhar’s ‘Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga’ has become an unexpected hit. It quickly rose to become the most watched Indian film, even surpassing international blockbusters like ‘RRR’. Following its success, a sequel has now been announced.
‘Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga’ is a heist film that hit screens in 2023. It featured actors such as Yami Gautam, Sunny Kaushal, Sharad Kelkar, and Indraneil Sengupta. The film is directed by Ajay Singh and produced by Maddock’s Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik.
The sequel will also be directed by Singh. The original film told the story of flight attendant Neha Grover and her boyfriend Ankit Sethi. Mired in debt, they plan to steal a cache of diamonds during a flight.
Yami and Sunny will be returning to reprise their roles as Neha and Ankit. There is also a possibility that Sharad Kelkar and Indraneil Sengupta will return.
Shooting starts for sequel this year

Yami Gautam will begin filming after completing her role in Junglee Pictures’ film based on the 1985 Shah Bano Case. She is set to start that project in March. This will be her second film after giving birth to her baby in May 2024.
Sunny Kaushal is also busy with upcoming projects. These include ‘Shiddat 2’ opposite Wamiqa Gabbi and a coming-of-age drama, ‘Letters to Mr. Khanna,’ which is still awaiting its release.
