One notable addition is Danny Boyle’s infamous 1996 Scottish drama “Trainspotting,” which has been added to Channel 4.
The film, adapted from Irvine Welsh’s book, follows the disintegration of a group of friends as they spiral towards drug-fueled self-destruction. Another Danny Boyle film, “127 Hours,” has been added to Amazon Prime. This 2010 drama tells the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston, who gets trapped in a canyon and must fight for survival.
BBC iPlayer has added the 2005 Johnny Cash biopic “Walk the Line,” directed by James Mangold. The film chronicles the life of the country music legend, from his early days on an Arkansas cotton farm to his rise to fame with Sun Records in Memphis. The 1991 dark comedy “The Addams Family” has made a comeback on ITVX.
Directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, the film follows the iconic family as they deal with the sudden reappearance of long-lost Uncle Fester.

Channel 4 has added the star-studded action comedy “Bullet Train,” directed by David Leitch.
The film follows an unlucky assassin named Ladybug who encounters lethal adversaries from around the globe on the world’s fastest train. Luca Guadagnino’s 2015 film “A Bigger Splash” has been added to Amazon Prime. The story revolves around an American couple whose vacation in Italy is disrupted by the arrival of a former lover and his teenage daughter.
Ridley Scott’s 1982 sci-fi classic “Blade Runner” has also been added to Amazon Prime. Set in dystopian Los Angeles of 2019, the film follows blade runner Rick Deckard as he is tasked with terminating replicants seeking to extend their lives. David Fincher’s 2010 film “The Social Network,” which tells the story of Facebook’s conception, has been added to Amazon Prime.
The film follows Mark Zuckerberg’s journey from a Harvard undergrad to one of the youngest billionaires ever. Amazon Prime has also added Damien Chazelle’s 2014 masterpiece “Whiplash,” which follows a young drummer under the direction of a ruthless instructor, pushing him to pursue perfection at any cost. Finally, BBC iPlayer has added the latest Wallace and Gromit adventure, “Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.” In this installment, Gromit becomes concerned about Wallace’s dependence on his inventions, and must save the day when a “smart” gnome develops a life of its own.
