Kensington Palace shared a video featuring Kate Middleton and Prince William to honor Armed Forces Day. The annual event celebrates the men and women serving in the British Armed Forces. The video included clips of the royal couple at military events.
They attended the 80th anniversary of D-Day last month and ceremonies with the Irish Guards and Army Air Corps. Princess Catherine wore a pair of earrings that belonged to Princess Diana in one clip. She visited the HMS Glasgow wearing a navy coat dress and the special earrings.
Royals honor military with tribute
“Proud to mark Armed Forces Day. Thank you to everyone serving in the British Armed Forces, and to all veterans, for your courage, dedication, and sacrifice,” the palace captioned the post.
Buckingham Palace also paid tribute with images from past military events. They thanked current service members, veterans, and their families. “Saluting all members of the military this #ArmedForcesDay,” the caption read.
Armed Forces Day reminds us of the sacrifices made by military personnel and their families. The Royal Family’s tributes show their ongoing support and recognition of these efforts.
