The summer TV season is packed with exciting new shows and returning favorites. From the return of the Emmy-winning series “The Bear” to the debut of Marvel’s “Ironheart,” there’s something for everyone. “The Bear” is back for its fourth season on FX on Hulu.

The plot remains under wraps, but we can expect to see Carmy dealing with The Chicago Tribune restaurant review and learn what choice Sydney made about her job offer. Of course, the food will still look mouthwatering. Marvel fans can look forward to “Ironheart” on Disney+.

The miniseries further develops the character of Riri Williams, a tech genius and armor suit-building extraordinaire, who was introduced in previous films. Dominique Thorne reprises the role. For those who love period dramas, “The Gilded Age” returns for its third season on HBO and Max.

The series promises more drama between the new-money Russell family and the old-money Brook family. The gorgeous costumes are sure to capture your attention.

Netflix has a couple of highly anticipated releases. “Squid Game” is back for its third and final season. The dystopian survival thriller ended with a stunning cliffhanger, and fans are eager to see what comes next for Gi-hun.

“Wednesday” also returns for its second season, with Jenna Ortega back as the titular psychic. The series, based on “The Addams Family,” is a biting and hilarious mystery. Other notable releases include “Alien: Earth,” a prequel series set two years before the events of the original “Alien” movie, and “Peacemaker” Season 2, which follows the events of the new “Superman” movie.
