Tom Hiddleston has finally spoken about his return to the role of Loki in the upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday. In a recent interview, Hiddleston expressed his excitement about reprising the character. “It’s really remarkable that I can talk about it because I’m mostly in a position of knowing and not being able to say anything,” Hiddleston said.

He admitted that keeping the secret was challenging. “It’s weird. It’s strange.

You have to be very disciplined about carrying this secret around, but it’s been an extraordinary chapter of my life playing Loki, and it’s not over yet.”

Hiddleston last played Loki in the second season of the character’s standalone series in 2023. He reflected on his past experiences with the role, sharing that he had said goodbye to the character at least twice before. “I have at least twice in my life said goodbye.

I’ve written to Kevin Feige and Louis de Esposito and Victoria Alonso and been like, ‘Thank you so much. It’s been the role of a lifetime,’ and they’ve written notes back saying, ‘Come and see us anytime.

You’re always part of the family. We’re always here. You’ve given us so much and tears have been shared.’ So, I think I’d be unwise at this point to be conclusive about any of it,” Hiddleston said.
