The 57-year-old actress debuted a blunt bob hairstyle with baby bangs, a dramatic departure from her signature long blonde locks. Anderson wore a dazzling silver sequined gown by Tory Burch for the event, which celebrated the theme “Tailored For You.” The long-sleeved dress was covered in crystals and paired with a matching bucket hat, minimal makeup, and classic Pandora jewelry.
“Tory Burch made this beautiful, very well-tailored, exciting gown,” Anderson told E!’s CreatorCam inside The Pierre Hotel. “It’s very inspirational. I’m so honored to wear it.”

Anderson was joined on the red carpet by her eldest son, Brandon Thomas Lee, who looked sharp in a black Genuardi tuxedo.
Last year, Anderson attended the Met Gala in an off-the-shoulder cream Oscar de la Renta gown and a faux leather headpiece, with her hair styled in a wavy updo. Since August 2023, Anderson has been embracing a more natural, bare-faced look. “It’s all about self-acceptance,” she told i-D magazine in September.
Pamela’s stunning Met Gala debut
“This is the chapter of my life I’m trying to embrace now. Since I really walk out the door as me, I feel relief—a weight off my shoulders.”
Despite her stunning appearance, a UK tabloid criticized Anderson’s look, calling her “frumpy” and saying she “looks worlds away” from her glory days.
Fans were quick to defend the actress, pointing out the unfair double standards for women in Hollywood. “Frumpy? She’s stunning and she’s 57 years old.
Can we stop expecting women to look 23 their entire lives?” one fan questioned. Another added, “She’s 57! Let her live her life. Is anyone angry that George Clooney let his hair go grey or that Matt Damon no longer has a six-pack? No.
Only women are expected to stay looking 25 while approaching 60!”
The 2025 Met Gala, co-chaired by A$AP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton, and Colman Domingo, featured numerous tailored looks on the red carpet, ranging from classic and sleek to theatrical and avant-garde. Other notable appearances included Rihanna in custom Marc Jacobs, Serena Williams in Moncler, and Kim Kardashian in custom Chrome Hearts.
