Michael Roark, known for his roles on “The Young and the Restless” and “Suitcase Killer: The Melanie McGuire Story,” is joining the cast of “Days of Our Lives.” Roark has been taping for the show, but his character won’t appear on-air until the first week of October. A spokesperson for “Days of Our Lives” confirmed Roark’s casting, saying, “Yes, Michael Roark has been taping but won’t be seen on-air until the first week of October. No comment about the role he is playing nor the storyline in which he is involved.

Fans first suspected Roark’s addition to the cast over the weekend when they noticed he was following other “Days of Our Lives” actors on social media.
