Elon Musk’s ex-girlfriend Ashley St. Clair has revealed the name of their baby boy born in 2024. The child, named Romulus after Rome’s legendary founder and first king, was allegedly kept secret by Musk’s team.

In an interview, St.

Clair claimed that Musk’s staffer Jared Birchall offered her $15 million and $100,000 per month in child support to keep quiet about the baby. She refused, stating, “I don’t want my son to feel like he’s a secret.”

A paternity test reportedly shows a 99.9999% probability that Musk is the father.

Musk has not publicly confirmed paternity but expressed willingness to support the child in an X post, writing, “Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”

St. Clair initially kept Romulus’ paternity private but decided to speak out as tabloid media intended to disclose it. She aims to provide a normal and safe environment for their child.

Reports suggest Musk has been actively working to build a “legion” of children, using his platform to recruit potential mothers and proposing surrogates.

Romulus’ secret revelation

This has led to “harem drama,” with Musk allegedly managing the mothers through financial incentives and confidentiality agreements.

Musk is confirmed to have fathered at least 14 children with four known women. Sources believe the actual number may be higher, with claims that he even provided sperm to a high-profile Japanese woman. Shivon Zilis, mother to four of Musk’s children, reportedly has “special status” among the mothers.

After St. Clair went public about their relationship, her child support was reduced from the initially offered $100,000 to $20,000 per month. Musk’s desire for many children stems from his belief that falling birthrates could put humanity at risk.

He has stated that “civilisation is going to crumble” without population growth and believes smart people need to have more children. Much of Musk’s life is protected through legal and financial measures. Grimes, who shares three children with him, revealed their custody battle left her financially drained.

As the richest person with an estimated net worth of $367.9 billion, Musk holds significant roles, including head of the Department of Government Efficiency under President Donald Trump and as an advisor in his cabinet.
