Hilaria Baldwin recently shared her decision to get a breast lift after having seven children with her husband, Alec Baldwin. On a recent episode of their TLC reality series “The Baldwins,” the 41-year-old mother explained the changes she noticed in her body after breastfeeding for over a decade. “Since I was breastfeeding for so long, it was one of these things I decided to do to give myself a little lift,” Hilaria said.

“I’ve been pregnant and/or breastfeeding for over a decade. I think this is the first time that I’ve not been pregnant and/or breastfeeding since I’ve started having kids.”

Hilaria and Alec share seven children together: Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Eduardo and María Lucía, 4, and Ilaria, 2. Alec also has a daughter, Ireland Baldwin, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.

Hilaria noted that her body went through significant changes after breastfeeding for so long. “I got used to my body being a certain way and as most women know who breastfeed, when the milk goes out, it’s a different, much lower reality.

It almost felt like my body wasn’t my body anymore, because I was so used to it being a certain way,” she explained. Despite her decision to undergo the cosmetic procedure, Hilaria emphasized that she tries to protect her children from feeling pressured to look a certain way. “Anytime I do something in the realm of vanity, I don’t want them to feel that they have to be a certain way.

And I want to try to protect Carmen because I’ve experienced a lot of self-doubt and listened to the criticism more than I should have,” she said. Hilaria has been open about her experiences with motherhood and the physical demands of breastfeeding in the past. In 2023, she shared details about her pumping routine after having her youngest child, Ilaria.

“Right after I have a baby, I pump all the time, but only for three minutes, just to stimulate production. At this point, I freeze about 30 to 50 ounces a day on top of feeding [Ilaria],” she said at the time.
