Jon Batiste, the Grammy and Oscar-winning musician, has announced his second headlining tour, “The Big Money Tour: Jon Batiste Plays America.” The tour will begin on August 27 in Kansas City and span over 30 venues across the U.S., concluding on October 31 in Washington, D.C.

The tour includes a stop at the Taft Theatre in Cincinnati on October 21. Tickets for the tour will be available to the public starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, via Ticketmaster.com and at the Taft Theatre box office during regular business hours. Batiste expressed that the tour aims to offer attendees a deeper connection to him as an artist, aligning with the themes of his forthcoming ninth studio album.

“Every show is both an origin story and a manifesto,” said Batiste. Each night of “The Big Money Tour” promises to be a multi-act musical journey that connects audiences to Batiste’s roots, his evolution, and the movement he is building through music. The show will feature selections from his critically acclaimed catalog alongside new material performed live for the first time.

Batiste describes the experience as “creative church”—a space for joy, openness, and collective experience.

“We’re living in a complicated time, and music has this incredible ability to reframe what we’re feeling, to help us keep going,” Batiste said in a media release.

“These shows are meant to be healing, liberating, and unforgettable.”

The tour follows a year of significant achievements for Batiste, including his rendition of the National Anthem at the 2025 Super Bowl and the release of “My United State,” a two-track project exploring American identity through sound. In 2025, Batiste also won two Grammy Awards: Best Music Film for the Netflix documentary “American Symphony” and Best Song Written for Visual Media for “It Never Went Away,” co-written with Dan Wilson.
