Shiloh Jolie, the 19-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, made a rare public appearance at a high-profile fashion event in Los Angeles. She attended a dinner celebrating the launch of French designer Isabel Marant’s capsule collection with Net-A-Porter. Shiloh, now going by the name Shi, took on a surprising role at the event.
She choreographed a dance routine performed by dancers Keoni Rose and Tako Suzuki to the song “Naïve” by singer-songwriter Luella. The exclusive dinner took place in the backyard of the Oliver House, a private residence designed by R.M. Schindler in the 1930s that overlooks the Silver Lake reservoir. Shiloh made a brief appearance at the cocktail hour before spending time with her dancers.
The star-studded guest list included former “Mad Men” co-stars Allison Brie and January Jones, as well as Rachel Bilson, Lily Rabe, Stephanie Suganami, Madeline Brewer, and models Dree Hemingway, Ever Anderson, Hilary Rhoda, and Salem Mitchell.
Shiloh embraces dance at LA event
Milla Jovovich, who co-hosted the event, attended with her daughter, Ever Anderson.
Marant expressed her love for Los Angeles, saying she feels “at home” in the city because of “all the cool girls with the Isabel Marant vibe.”
The dinner also marked the first Net-A-Porter event under its new CEO, Heather Kaminetsky, who joined the company just five weeks ago. Kaminetsky praised Marant, calling her a “true creative force” and highlighted the collaboration’s timeless and versatile collection. Shiloh’s choice to perform at this event suggests she may be pursuing a career in professional dance.
It’s unclear if Shi is a stage name or if she intends to go by it consistently. Previously, Shiloh made headlines for altering her name and now uses her mother’s last name exclusively. Despite her impactful public appearance, Shiloh prefers to lead a life away from the limelight, as mentioned by Angelina Jolie in a 2024 interview on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
