The European Fine Art Foundation (TEFAF) is hosting its annual art fair in Maastricht, Netherlands, from March 15 to 20. The fair will feature 270 galleries from over 20 countries, showcasing a wide array of artworks. Maastricht University (UM) is actively participating in this year’s TEFAF, organizing several noteworthy events.
On Friday, March 14, from 08:30 to 13:30, the Art Business Conference will return to TEFAF with a half-day session, including entry to the fair during the Collectors Preview. Rachel Pownall, the founding director of the Executive Master in Cultural Leadership at UM, will be part of the panel discussing AI for Art Market Stakeholders. On Sunday, March 16, from 15:30 to 16:30, Rachel Pownall will host students from the current cohort of the Executive Master in Cultural Leadership and alumni.

Rebecca Lyons, the Head of Collections, will also join the session. The Executive Master in Cultural Leadership is a master’s programme that UM runs in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Arts.
