Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers are bringing their Las Culturistas Culture Awards to television for the first time. The awards show will air on Bravo on Tuesday, August 5 from 9 to 11 p.m. ET. It will also be available for streaming the next day on Peacock.

The Las Culturistas Culture Awards have grown out of Yang and Rogers’ popular podcast “Las Culturistas.” The show celebrates “culture’s most iconic and consequential moments of the year,” according to the co-hosts. It will feature over 100 award categories, live musical performances, and celebrity guests. “The word ‘culture’ is defined as ‘the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively,'” said Rogers and Yang in a statement.

“We are so thrilled to eliminate that whole ‘intellectual’ part entirely with the LCCA’s airing on Bravo and Peacock this August, alongside our partners at Lionsgate.

Because while what the world needs now might be love sweet love, it also needs to see an Oscar-winning actress and a Real Housewife come together to present a very heavy award to Oprah, if we can book her.

Oprah, u up?!”

NBCUniversal Entertainment executive VP of live events and specials Jen Neal expressed excitement about bringing the awards to Bravo and Peacock audiences. “Matt and Bowen’s undeniable chemistry, playful humor, and love of pop culture’s big and small moments have shaped this spirited award show, redefining what it means to celebrate culture,” she said. The Las Culturistas podcast, which launched in 2016, has featured appearances by notable celebrities such as Mariah Carey, Tina Fey, Ariana Grande, Amy Poehler, and Lady Gaga.
