David Hasselhoff, the 72-year-old actor known for his roles in “Baywatch” and “Knight Rider,” was recently photographed being assisted in a wheelchair at airports in Cancun, Mexico, and Los Angeles, California. The sightings occurred just weeks after the reported suicide of his ex-wife, Pamela Bach, at the age of 60. In the exclusive images obtained by media outlets, Hasselhoff can be seen being wheeled through the airport terminals by airport personnel.

Upon arriving at Los Angeles International Airport, he was able to move out of the wheelchair and exit the airport with his wife, Hayley Roberts, 45, while leaning on her for support. Despite his apparent frailty, Hasselhoff acknowledged the photographers with a smile, a thumbs-up gesture, and a wave, seemingly trying to maintain a positive demeanor in the face of recent events. A source close to the actor provided insight into Hasselhoff’s current state, saying, “David is living on borrowed time and has lived hard.

He had a life that people could only dream of but he also spent decades self-medicating through alcohol and other substances, which he does regret.”

Hasselhoff’s representative later confirmed that the actor was seen in a wheelchair because he is scheduled to undergo knee replacement surgery next week. The recent photographs have drawn attention to Hasselhoff’s well-being during a difficult time, as he mourns the loss of his ex-wife and the mother of his two daughters, Taylor Ann and Hayley Amber Hasselhoff.

Pamela Bach, who was married to Hasselhoff from 1989 to 2006, passed away on March 5, according to the L.A. County Medical Examiner. In a 2015 interview, Hasselhoff spoke openly about his struggles with alcohol addiction and its impact on his life and family. “Alcohol can become deadly,” he said.

“The scariest is when you go into a meeting and you’re like, ‘Where’s Steve?’ and they say, ‘Oh Steve died last night’. But you just met him yesterday! It’s a very scary, deadly thing that needs to be addressed.”

As Hasselhoff continues to face health challenges and personal loss, his current wife, Hayley Roberts, whom he married in 2018, has been by his side, offering support during this trying time.
