Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of the upcoming film “Animal,” had initial doubts about Ranbir Kapoor’s appearance for his role in the movie. Vanga felt that Kapoor’s long hair and beard made him look too similar to his character in the biographical film “Sanju,” where he portrayed Sanjay Dutt. Hairstylist Aalim Hakim, who was responsible for creating Kapoor’s look in “Animal,” shared that it took some convincing to get Vanga on board with the long hair and beard.

Hakim said, “Vanga sir initially said the long hair isn’t working, he’s looking like Sanju. I had to convince him that he won’t look like that once his whole look is put together.”

Hakim emphasized the importance of Kapoor’s long hair and beard in bringing his character to life.

Ranbir’s distinct look in Animal

He explained, “Had Ranbir’s hair and beard not been long in ‘Animal,’ I don’t think his character would have the same impact. It took time to develop his character’s look.”

“Animal” boasts an impressive cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol. The film has generated a lot of buzz among fans, who are eager to see Kapoor’s distinctive look and performance in the movie.

The decision to stick with the long hair and beard for Kapoor’s character showcases the attention to detail and commitment of the filmmakers and artists involved in the project. They aim to create a unique and memorable character that will resonate with the audience. As the release of “Animal” approaches, fans are excited to see how Kapoor’s look and performance will contribute to the overall impact of the film.
