Heather Graham, the 55-year-old actress known for her roles in films like “Austin Powers” and “Boogie Nights,” recently shared her secrets for staying youthful and vibrant. In an interview with Retreat Magazine, Graham emphasized the importance of self-love and surrounding oneself with joy and supportive people. “I think what matters most is how you feel inside,” Graham said.

“Decide that you’re hot and enjoy your life. What other people think of you is none of your business. If you feel good about yourself, no one can take that away from you.”

Graham credits her youthful glow to a healthy lifestyle, which includes abstaining from alcohol and drugs, getting plenty of sleep, eating well, and cooking for herself and others.

She also incorporates daily affirmations into her routine, believing in their power to strengthen her inner resilience. “I work on strengthening my inner loving parent muscle, so I can be supportive and loving to myself,” she explained.

Heather Graham’s keys to happiness

“One of my affirmations is: ‘This is the best time of my life.'”

The actress’s commitment to wellness extends beyond physical health to include mental and emotional well-being. She has been meditating for 40 minutes a day since she was 21 and enjoys activities like yoga, hiking, and beach outings to stay active and connected with nature. “I think the most important thing is to have loving people around you,” Graham added.

“I have some wonderful friends, and I am so grateful for them.”

Despite the challenges she has faced, including estrangement from her parents since the age of 25, Graham remains proud of her journey and the support she receives from her friends. She left home at 18 to pursue acting and now resides in Los Angeles, where she recently purchased a house with views of the Pacific. Graham’s approach to life and aging serves as an inspiration, reflecting her belief in self-care, authenticity, and the happiness that comes from within.

“Fill up your cup first before you give to other people,” she advised. “Also, it’s so good to have a sense of humor!”
