Ajay Devgn has joined the cast of the upcoming historical drama “Chhaava” as the narrator. The film, directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, stars Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Devgn has already completed dubbing for his portions in the film.
A source close to the project said, “Ajay Devgn is among the very few actors in Indian cinema who can captivate audiences with just his voice. His intensity enhances the emotional weight of the scenes.”
Devgn’s previous role in “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior,” which depicted the story of another Maratha warrior, made him more than willing to lend his voice to this project as well. The source confirmed that Devgn completed his voiceover work for the film in the last week.
