Christy Holifield has been named the new Market President for iHeartMedia’s Greensboro, North Carolina, radio stations. She will oversee the operations of WMAG-FM, WTQR-FM, WVBZ-FM, WPTI-FM, and WMKS-FM. Holifield previously served as the Vice President of Sales for iHeartMedia’s Columbia, South Carolina, cluster.

She has also held positions as Director of National Sales for Emmis Indianapolis, Regional Healthcare Strategy Manager for Spectrum Cable, and Account Executive in Alabama. In a statement, Holifield expressed her enthusiasm for the new role, saying, “I am excited to take on this new challenge and lead the talented team in Greensboro. I look forward to continuing to build on our success and deliver exceptional results for our listeners and advertisers.”

Dave Carwile, President of iHeartMedia Carolinas, praised Holifield’s appointment.

Holifield succeeds Kellie Holeman, who previously held the position of Market President for iHeartMedia Greensboro. The move comes as part of iHeartMedia’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its leadership team and maintain its position as a leading media company in the region. As Market President, Holifield will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the five radio stations, as well as developing and implementing strategies to grow the stations’ audience and revenue.

She will work closely with the programming, sales, and marketing teams to ensure the stations continue to deliver high-quality content and advertising solutions to their listeners and clients. The appointment of Christy Holifield as Market President for iHeartMedia Greensboro is effective immediately. She will report directly to Dave Carwile, President of iHeartMedia Carolinas.
