Justin Baldoni has released a series of text messages he claims are between him, Blake Lively, and Ryan Reynolds. The messages were allegedly sent before and during the filming of the movie “It Ends With Us.”
Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, also made public unedited footage from the film. They claim this footage refutes Lively’s accusations of sexual harassment against Baldoni.
The text messages and footage were shared on Baldoni’s newly launched website. The website also includes an amended complaint against Lively, Reynolds, her PR firm, and the New York Times. A timeline of purported relevant events, including emails and text messages, is also on the site.
In one text, allegedly from Lively to Baldoni on April 8, 2023, she wrote, “I can send you my pass at the roof or just read w you when we get together next week. Lemme know what you prefer 🙂 if you knew me (in person) longer you’d have a sense of how flirty and yummy the ball busting would play. It’s my love language.
Spicy and playfully bold, never with teeth.”
Another series of screenshots shows texts that Baldoni claims are between him and Reynolds from February 2023. In these texts, Reynolds allegedly expressed excitement and admiration towards Baldoni and the upcoming project. “I’m excited for Blake to crack open her creative piggy bank with someone as dynamic as you.
Justin Baldoni’s evidence revelations
This is gonna be INCREDIBLE… I happen to adore you, Justin,” Reynolds allegedly wrote. Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, commented on the decision to amend their lawsuit.
He stated, “The decision to amend our lawsuit was a logical next step due to the overwhelming amount of new proof that has come to light. This fresh evidence corroborates what we knew all along, that Ms. Lively and her entire team colluded for months to destroy reputations through a complex web of lies and false accusations.”
Lively’s legal team is prepared to discuss a potential gag order in court on Monday.
They argue that Freedman’s public statements could taint the jury. Both Baldoni and Lively have filed lawsuits against each other. Lively initially claimed she experienced sexual harassment on set and sued Baldoni in December.
Her allegations include sexual harassment, retaliation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence. Baldoni has accused Lively of falsely accusing him to repair her reputation. The legal battle continues to draw public interest as both parties await their day in court.
Representatives for Lively and Reynolds have been reached for comments.
