Nickelback and Brantley Gilbert will perform at the Field of Dreams Movie Site in Dyersville, Iowa, this summer. The concert is part of the Velocity Festival and will take place on August 31. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.
Tim McGraw is also scheduled to perform at the festival on August 30. More artists are expected to be announced soon for the concert series. The Field of Dreams site continues to host significant musical acts, making this an exciting time for the location.
Nickelback headlines Velocity Festival
“Adding a second day to this event is going to make it even more epic!” said Nick Abate of promoter U.S. Concert Agency in a press release. “With Nickelback hitting the stage at the iconic Field of Dreams, we’re kicking off something special with Velocity, our new multi-city music festival launching in 2026.”
Abate added, “It’s all about bringing incredible performances to legendary locations and creating unforgettable experiences for fans.
We’re beyond excited for what’s to come!”
Velocity is a new multi-city festival initiative set to expand to other locations in 2026. The inaugural event will take place on the 193-acre farm and baseball diamond famously depicted in the 1989 film “Field of Dreams,” starring Kevin Costner. In recent years, this historic field has also hosted official MLB regular season games.
Nickelback’s performance at the Field of Dreams will follow their previously announced tour with Kid Rock earlier in the summer. Stay tuned for more updates on ticket sales, the festival’s lineup, and additional artist announcements.
