Lisa Rinna recently addressed her comments comparing “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” to the Titanic during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live on Monday, February 10. Cohen, 56, confronted Rinna, 61, about her remarks, asking, “Why are you saying that the show is the Titanic? You mouth off.”
Rinna, known for her outspoken nature, responded with, “Hello, have you met me?” Cohen acknowledged that Rinna has moved on from the show since her departure in 2022, after joining as a main cast member in season 5 in 2014.
However, he pointed out the ongoing connection, saying, “I know, but you’ve so moved past the show.
Rinna addresses Titanic comparison remarks
You’re so doing your own thing.”
During the conversation, Rinna revealed that she had apologized to current cast member Erika Jayne about her Titanic comments.
“I’m sorry I hurt your feelings,” she told Cohen. When asked if Erika had been offended, Rinna admitted that her comment might have upset others, stating, “I put my foot in my mouth.”
The exchange highlighted Rinna’s tendency to speak her mind, with Cohen referring to her apology as an “old-school Housewife apology” or a “non-apology apology.” Despite recognizing that her words may have been harsh, Rinna stood by her initial comparison, saying, “I meant to say Titanic, and I said it and I’m sorry I hurt your feelings. Let’s move on.”
The discussion underscores the tension surrounding Rinna’s outspoken personality and its impact on her relationships with other cast members and the ongoing narrative of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
