While Marvel has not officially confirmed the casting, industry insiders suggest Bailey is a strong contender for the part. The “Nova” series, which Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed was in development in July 2024, is set to expand the cosmic side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The show will likely focus on the character of Richard Rider, a member of the intergalactic police force known as the Nova Corps. Richard Rider, created by Marv Wolfman and John Buscema, first appeared in “The Man Called Nova #1” in 1976.

I’ll hit up some push-ups for whoever wants me to do some.” He also mentioned his interest in playing the character of Sam Alexander, another iteration of Nova, in an October 2022 interview. As anticipation builds for the “Nova” series, fans eagerly await official announcements regarding casting and production details.
