Paul Jenkins, the creator of The Sentry, recently shared his involvement with the film. “I worked on the Thunderbolts movie.
I actually consulted on it and was able to give them insights into the character. It’s going to be interesting to see if it came out the way I wanted it to,” Jenkins said. He also revealed an interesting detail about his contract with Marvel.

“I have a contract with Marvel that, if there’s a Sentry movie, I write it. That’s good news,” Jenkins stated.

The fine print reads “The Avengers are not available,” suggesting the Thunderbolts will temporarily replace the Avengers as the MCU’s go-to heroes.
