Saif Ali Khan, a renowned Bollywood actor, was recently stabbed during an alleged robbery attempt at his residence in Mumbai. The incident took place on the 12th floor of his apartment in the upscale Bandra area. In a surprising turn of events, it was Saif’s 8-year-old son, Taimur, who accompanied him to the hospital.
Lalita D’Silva, Taimur’s former nanny, expressed her shock and admiration for the young boy’s actions. “It really shocked me that little Taimur took his father to the hospital. At his age, the child’s mindset is so strong; that’s unimaginable,” she said.
1) Saif Ali Khan came back from hospital 100% fit after 48 hours only.
2) Police did not charge attacker with attempt to murder crime.
3) Arrested person face doesn’t match with CCTV guy. Even though that CCTV footage is not from Saif’s floor.
4) A very weak Attacker stabbed Saif…— KRK (@kamaalrkhan) January 22, 2025

The attacker, identified as Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad, a Bangladeshi national living illegally in India, was arrested by the Mumbai Police from neighbouring Thane city on January 19. Shehzad allegedly demanded Rs 1 crore when confronted by Khan’s nanny during the burglary attempt. Shehzad’s father, Md Ruhul Amin Fakir, revealed that his son had left Bangladesh in April in search of a better job, feeling that his future was bleak in their village due to increasing political instability.

“He left without any legal documents, with the help of a middleman,” Fakir said, adding that his son’s goal was to earn enough money to eventually move out of India. The incident has sparked controversy, with Maharashtra’s Ports Minister Nitesh Rane alleging that the attack on Saif Ali Khan was staged.
Rane accused Khan of “dancing while walking out” of the hospital, which led him to question the legitimacy of the attack. “I doubted if he had been stabbed or if he was acting,” Rane said. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar responded to Rane’s comments by suggesting that if the minister had any concerns, he should communicate them to the Home Department.
Pawar confirmed that the suspect has been arrested. Saif Ali Khan sustained multiple stab wounds and underwent two surgeries at a nearby private hospital. The attacker later told the police that he stabbed the actor multiple times in the back to free himself from Khan’s tight grip.
The police are currently investigating the case, and Shehzad remains in custody. The incident has sparked a debate over security and the treatment of high-profile individuals versus ordinary citizens.
