Amazon Studios made a grand entrance at CinemaCon 2025, showcasing an impressive lineup of upcoming films. The event was filled with star power as actors like Ben Affleck, Chris Hemsworth, and Ryan Gosling took the stage to promote their latest projects. Affleck and Jon Bernthal presented an extended teaser for “The Accountant 2,” which showed Affleck’s character, Christian, at a speed-dating event.

The footage also featured Christian teaming up with Medina to solve a murder and engaging in a shootout with his estranged brother. Affleck expressed his excitement about continuing the story, saying, “In some ways, I feel like the character never left me.”

The panel also included a behind-the-scenes look at the new “Masters of the Universe” movie. The clip showcased He-Man’s iconic sword and featured commentary from the director about his childhood toys.

The footage promised a mix of practical effects, accurate costumes, and large set pieces. While there was no substantial news about the next James Bond film, a brief update assured fans that the legacy of the character will be honored in the planning of a fresh installment. Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo’s “Crime 101” teaser showed Hemsworth’s character planning a heist and disguising himself as a driver to pick up Ruffalo’s detective character.

The footage hinted at a massive heist and growing tension between the characters.

Amazon Studios’ upcoming film lineup

Chris Pratt’s “The Mercy” trailer depicted his character trying to prove his innocence within 90 minutes to avoid execution.

Rebecca Ferguson’s character explained the rules of the Mercy program as Pratt raced against the clock to gather evidence. “After the Hunt,” starring Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield, and Ayo Edebiri, offered a glimpse into a story revolving around personal conflicts and generational differences. The teaser showed the characters in a heated argument at a social gathering.

The first look at Colleen Hoover’s “Verity” adaptation featured Josh Hartnett and Anne Hathaway’s characters meeting in a bar. The footage suggested a psychological depth, with Hathaway’s character dreaming of a darker version of herself. Michael B.

Jordan sent an on-screen message about his upcoming film, “The Thomas Crown Affair,” emphasizing that it is not just another remake but a movie that demands to be seen on the big screen. Lastly, footage from “Project Hail Mary” showcased Ryan Gosling’s character, Ryland Grace, preparing for a mission to save the world. The teaser mixed humor with suspense, ending with Grace discovering an alien spaceship.
